Responsibilities:

Activities of daily living that assist adults with physical disabilities, who self-direct their care, to live independently, including:

Transferring/positioning/turning

Dressing/undressing Washing/bathing

Toileting including bowel, bladder and

catheter care Light housekeeping/laundry

assistance Meal preparation/assistance

with eating

Follow through on programs

developed by an occupational therapist,

physiotherapist and/or speech therapist

Qualifications: PSW certification or

experience in the field preferred Ability to

work shifts including days, evenings and/or

overnights Commitment to work alternate

weekends

Successful criminal reference

check Employment medical Environment

Conditions: Exposure to: Household
